It all started with a vision…

When Megann Hendrix entered Marquette University Law School in 2007, she dreamt of practicing law in a fundamental way—in the way law was always meant to be practiced—by serving those around us with a humble and helpful heart.

As a Shorewood resident, Megann’s goal was to bring her practice back to her local community. After spending 13 years honing in her skills and expertise in estate planning, estate administration, and elder law in other firms around the Milwaukee area, Megann then followed her vision to create her own firm.

Although 2023 was a challenging but rewarding year, by November, Megann had taken the leap of faith and opened Sage Legal Group. She took her team with her—4 other women, loyal and committed to helping each other succeed, and in turn, using their gifts and talents to serve their community.

Megann had another vision about her firm—to radically reinvent the often negative culture associated with the corporate world.

With a penchant for travel, spending time with her family, and practicing mind+body wellness, Megann set out to create the kind of work culture that supports herself and her employees—mentally, physically, and emotionally. Sage Legal Group is committed to encouraging its team members to be the healthiest, happiest versions of themselves. This new culture creates a magnetism that leads to further success.

Within less than two months, the team was ready to grow. The clients the team had the privilege of assisting had used word of mouth to spread the news of Sage Legal Group’s services, and the team needed further support.

In February 2024, Megann hired 3 additional team members, and is now expanding the Sage Legal Group office space.

We are delighted to say the team is chugging along, while having fun in the meantime! We’ve completed a 3-session meditation course with Ben Katt of MIND MKE, we’re hosting an electronics recycling drive for Earth Day, and will be partnering with the Alzheimer’s Association walk in September of 2024.

Stay tuned for further updates on our community events, and please reach out if you have an idea for a partnership.
